Rebecca
Fertitta began dancing at the age of seven at Marsha Woody
Academy of Dance in Beaumont, Texas. There she studied ballet,
pointe, tap, jazz, and contemporary, and performed several roles
in The Nutcracker, Peter and the Wolf, Coppelia, and yearly
recitals for twelve years. During high school she was a member
of the dance team, the West Brook STARS, and served as a Junior
and First Lieutenant her junior and senior years. After
graduating in 2011 she became a 72nd line member of the world
famous Kilgore College Rangerettes collegiate dance team. As a
Rangerette she traveled the country performing in Hawaii,
Washington DC, and pre-game and half time for the Dallas
Cowboys and at the AT&T Cotton Bowl. After graduating from
Kilgore College she pursued a dance degree from Texas State
University and began teaching and studying the Cecchetti ballet
technique at ONE Academy of Dance in Austin.
